BIO
マルティナ・ミホリッチは、空間インスタレーション、彫刻、映像、サウンドなど、複数のメディアを横断して活動するクロアチア人のビジュアルアーティストです。ロンドンのセントラル・セント・マーチンズ・カレッジ・オブ・アート・アンド・デザインで修士号（MA）を取得し、クロアチア、ザグレブ芸術アカデミーを卒業しています。
彼女の作品は、有機的なシステムと人工的なシステム、神話とテクノロジー、そして変容のプロセスが交差する領域を探求しています。没入型のバイオモーフィック（生物形態的）な空間環境を通して、身体、テクノロジー、そして人間を超えた世界との関係を考察しています。
これまでに、2025年大阪・関西万博のクラゲ館（Jellyfish Pavilion）をはじめ、京都のBnA Alter Museum、神奈川のCREATIVE SPACE HAYASHI、クロアチアおよびイギリスのさまざまな美術館・ギャラリーなど、国際的に作品を発表しています。また、ドイツ・オスナブリュックのEuropean Media Art Festival、スペイン・ビルバオのVideodromo、マドリードのIntercambiadorなど、実験映画やメディアアートのプラットフォームでも映像作品を発表しています。
2022年には第14回クロアチア彫刻トリエンナーレ賞を受賞。また、ザグレブで開催された第33回ユース・サロンなど、クロアチアを代表する大規模な展覧会のキュレーションおよびプロデュースにも携わっています。

VOID LICK (2026)

作品概要
VOID LICKは、知覚、暗闇、そして感覚の変容をテーマにした実験的な映像作品です。もともとは、没入型インスタレーションの一部として、空間に応答する形で制作されましたが、現在は独立した映像作品として、映像空間やシネマティックな上映にも対応できる作品として展開されています。
暗く、音が圧縮されたような空間の中で、本作は「VOID（空白・虚無）」を単なる空虚ではなく、知覚が生まれる能動的な場として捉えています。映像、言葉、形が現れる以前の意識に働きかけ、断片的なリズム、触覚的なイメージ、そして大気のような音によって、鑑賞者を研ぎ澄まされた感覚の状態へと導きます。
本作には、明確な物語や直線的な展開はありません。身体的な体験そのものを通して展開し、沈黙を素材として、欠如を創造の源として扱います。創造性とは、内側に潜む「まだ形にならない状態」、脆さ、そして変容のプロセスから生まれるものだと提示しています。 もともとは空間、音、彫刻的要素を組み合わせた大規模なインスタレーションとして制作された作品ですが、この映像作品は建築的な環境から切り離されても成立するよう構成されています。それによって、空間に依存することなく、没入感と身体的・感覚的な体験を独立した映像作品として保持しています。

BIO
Martina Miholić is a Croatian visual artist working across spatial installation, sculpture, video, and sound. She holds an MA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Her practice explores the intersections of organic and synthetic systems, mythology and technology, and processes of transformation through immersive, biomorphic environments.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including projects at Expo 2025 Osaka (Jellyfish Pavilion), venues in Japan (Kanagawa, Kyoto), and the UK, as well as experimental film and media platforms such as the European Media Art Festival (Osnabrück), Videodromo (Bilbao), and Intercambiador (Madrid).
She has received the Award of the 14th Croatian Sculpture Triennial (2022) and has curated and produced major national exhibitions, including the 33rd Youth Salon in Zagreb.

VOID LICK (2026) – video installation / experimental film
SYNOPSIS ：
VOID LICK is an experimental moving image work originally conceived as part of an immersive installation exploring perception, darkness, and sensory transformation. While emerging from a site-responsive spatial environment, the work has been developed to function as an autonomous video piece suitable for cinematic presentation. Set within a darkened, acoustically compressed environment, the work approaches the void not as emptiness but as an active field of perception where awareness begins before image, language, or form. Through fragmented rhythms, tactile imagery, and atmospheric sound, the film invites the viewer into a state of heightened sensory attention. Rather than constructing a linear narrative, VOID LICK unfolds through embodied experience, where silence becomes material and absence becomes generative. The work proposes creativity as a process emerging from interior states of latency, vulnerability, and transformation. Although originally created within a larger installation that integrated space, sound, and sculptural elements, the moving image has been conceived to exist independently, preserving its immersive and experiential qualities beyond the architectural context.
