13歳で溶接を習い
2010年に音のかたちSeiシリーズを開始。
「鉄の魅力を伝えたい」
自由自在に鉄を操り、楽しい鉄彫刻を目指す。
独自の工法で素材の性質を生かした作品づくりを始め
枠を超えた様々な分野で鉄の新たな世界観を表現している。
シリーズ作品「sei」では、
店舗、住宅など身近な空間や自然の中で、鉄の本来の音を奏で響せている。
鉄音階を埋め込んだ鈴、振れると音が鳴る動物などを得意とし、音と造形の世界観を表現する。
2010年から始めた鉄彫刻、作品制作も仕事になった。

鉄の振動は人々を優しく包み込み、
笑顔と癒しを与えるだろう。
そんな光景を思い描きながら自然本来の鉄の音色を奏でる作品を、日々制作している。
いつか叶えたい、理想とする光景がある。
鉄の彫刻作品たちの、真ん中に自分が座って、
鉄の音色に囲まれ、ギターを奏でている姿。
波や水の音。鳥や虫の鳴き声。
そんな自然と共鳴し、風に吹かれて鳴る、鉄の音。
それを表現したのはインスタレーション、
誰もが楽しめる鉄の音の空間『音の焚き火』。
リップルのように空間をつなぐ存在がいて、
LUU-MOS、架空の生き物や、動物達が音を持って存在する。
涅槃像は体中スピーカーで空間の音色を描き出す。
作品「Sei」は、音階を調律することで
人と人を繋ぐコミュニケーションツールの役割も果たす。
全ての作品は繋がっていて
新たに生まれてくる作品によって空間は広がり続ける。
全ての作品の音源となる「Sei」の加工技術は、
振動に耐え得る完全溶接技術が求められる。
75年続く家業で培った溶接技術によるものである。
内径45ミリ程の球体に音階を閉じ込める技術も独自の工法と技術であり、
常に新たな和音と美しい響きを模索生み出している。
鉄の音の作品「Sei」を欲しいと言ってくれる人が多くなり、
2010年から始めた鉄彫刻、作品制作も仕事になった。
これからアーティストとしてやってみたい仕事は、
公園や施設に置かれる、大きなパブリックアートの鉄彫刻。
誰も聞いたことの無い音を発する楽器を作ること。
より多くの人と繋がりたく、海外での個展。
大きな楽器製作。人々が中に入って楽しめる作品。
鉄の振動は人々を優しく包み込み、
笑顔と癒しを与えるだろう。
そんな光景を思い描きながら、

Born in Kawasaki and lives in Chigasaki.
Started producing the series “Sei “and followed by several unique iron artworks with sounds.
His concept is Barrier Free Open Heart Music !
There is a scene that I idealise, one that I wish to realise.
My form – sitting right in the middle of iron sculptures,
Surrounded by the timbre of iron – playing the guitar.
The sound of waves and water. The cries of birds and insects.
The sound of iron that rings out – resounding with nature – blowing with the wind.
What expressed that is the installation
“Bonfire of Sound” – a space where everyone can enjoy the sound of iron.
With there being entities that connect space the way Ripple does;
LUU-MOS – fictional creatures or animals – exist, holding sound.
Nehanzou depicts the timbre of space through the speaker inside its body.
The work “Sei” – by tuning musical scales –
Also plays the role of connecting people to one another.
With all the works being connected,
The space continues to expand through newly-born works.
In the processing technique for “Sei”, which is the source of sound for all my works,
A complete welding technique that can withstand vibration is required.
This is one that is based on the welding technique cultivated in our 75-year-long family business.
Even the technique to contain musical scales in spheres of about 45 mm is an original method and technique,
And I always seek and create new harmonies and beautiful sounds.
With the number of people who say that they want my work “Sei” – with the sound of iron – increasing,
Even the iron sculpting and artwork creation that I had started in 2010 became part of my work.
The kinds of work that I want to do as an artist in the future
Are large public art iron sculptures that can be placed in parks or institutions.
To make musical instruments that produce sounds that no one has ever heard.
Because I want to connect even more people, private exhibitions abroad.
To create large musical instruments. Works that people can enjoy entering inside.
The vibrations of iron would gently envelop people,
Giving them smiles and healing.
While visualising such a scene,
I create works that play the original, natural timbre of iron, day after day.
